David Cradduck, Winchester Today - 17/03/2018

Peter Vincent’s lighting and David Woodward’s relatively plain set make the colourful characters stand out. Great realism is not part of the deal, the performance being the all-important feature. No need for elaborate backdrops, this is all about the characters, the mime, the farce and the tradition of this theatrical which we still see to this day in various guises, including the good old Punch and Judy Show.
