Lighting, Sound and Effects: I was very impressed with this aspect of the production.... I have left lighting till last because it was absolutely outstanding and features again and again in my notes. Apart from the effects of the scudding black clouds and the silhoutted skyline of London, we had the most beautiful colours throughout the show, for example the thieves kitchen, the 'Who Will Buy' sequence, in the 'Three Cripples' and for London Bridge. I understand this was innovative scrolled lighting and after the interval and informative chat, I was able to watch this in action, a most enlighting experience, excuse the pun, and congratulations to your society for installing it.
