Light falling from the skylight is gelled in the colours of the pink triangle and the yellow star, worn by some of the six million people who died in the concentration camps of the Second World War. Six million grains of rice fill this trough in the room that Stuttgarts deported citizens waiting in for their train to Bergen-Belsen.
