This sequence (where the character of George Bailey is shown what his families lives would have been like had he never been born) is intended to be surreal. To achieve this I utilized (2) Source 4 ERS' on floorboards with Rosco colorizer gobos in GAM TwinSpin rotators. The low angle created exaggerated shadows on the cyc and the slowly spinning gobos contributed to the feeling of ''madness'' that the scene portends.
