Designer's notes:
This show was part of a run of about 5 shows within a few weeks so we had a fixed rig, which although I had input into it's design, had I been able to make amendments they would have been made in order to tailor the rig to my requirements. There were 4 distinct sections: the 'Hofesh Section' influenced by the work of Hofesh Shechter; the 'World Section' which was in the style of Richard Alston and Rambert; then after the interval a section which was more 'Mainstream Contemporary' before the show ended with a 'High Art Section' with much of the music being by Ludovicio Einaudi. The desk we used was the ETC Ion with 20 fader wing attachment. The journey from concept to performance took approximately a month.
