Ambersphere heads for ABTT
The Ambersphere team will be at full strength on Stand C20 at this year’s ABTT show which returns to North London’s Alexandra Palace on Tuesday 6th June and Wednesday 7th June. As always, the very latest products from each of Ambersphere family of brands will be on show.
The award winning Dalis range of LED cyc, wash and footlights will feature from Robert Juliat. The Dalis 860 300W Cyclight won the PLASA Award for Innovation in 2015 and it continues to attract strong sales while its footlight counterpart, the Dalis 862 150W Footlight earned a commendation at PLASA 2016. Completing the range is the Dalis 861which features the same control, colour-mixing and quiet operation as the 860 and 862.
The contribution from Claypaky includes the Scenius Profile and two fixtures new to the market. Designed specifically for theatrical users, the new K-Eye wash light, brings a world of almost total colour choice to the LD’s palette with almost no noise. The LED light source has amber, cyan and lime to the original red, green and blue enabling a far wider spectrum of colour mixing and an optional top-hat attachment to eliminate lens glare.
Adding to the Scenius range is the Axcor Profile 900, the first Claypaky spotlight to use an LED source. Using only 900W to deliver output equivalent to a 1400W discharge fixture, the Axcore features a crisp optical system delivering high-contrast images. This luminaire has been designed with all of Claypaky’s legendary quality and cutting-edge features and includes framing shutters, animation wheel, gobos, prism, frost, iris, CMY+ linear CTO and 6 colour wheel system.
Ayrton are celebrating fifteen years of manufacturing unique and market leading fixtures and weighing in at just under 14kg the new MERAKTM is another success story in the making. Designed with a minimalist, unobtrusive look, the combination of a 250W LED source, a 7o to 70o zoom and a brand new Fresnel lens design gives the MERAK power, flexibility and superb colour mixing capabilities.
The dot2 range of consoles from MA Lighting is a success story that goes from strength to strength as Thor Andrè of Ambersphere sales explains, “The versatility of the MA dot2 means that it is asserting itself as a new favourite desk with many small to medium sized theatres. The fact that it is equally at home running a structured theatre show or busking a concert means that it fits much better than the traditional consoles into the modern use we see in theatres these days with both concerts and corporate events taking place in addition to traditional plays. Come and see for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.”
Visitors to Ambersphere’s stand will find all the different options of the dot2 available to see and explore with expert help and advice always on hand. To complement this, Ambersphere are once again running their highly popular MA Lighting dot2 training sessions during the show. To make this free training fully accessible to visitors, each day will offer two ninety minute sessions: 12.00 – 13.30 and 14.30 – 16.00. Taking place on Level 1 in the Palm Court Suite, the sessions cover an overview of all the features of the dot2 with hands on instruction and guidance giving attendees the opportunity to really explore what the dot2 can offer them.
These sessions are always very busy so booking is strongly advised: please visit: http://www.abtttheatreshow.co.uk/ma-lighting-dot2-training/. The Ambersphere Solutions team look forward to meeting you.
