Rebecca Clough
Biography
Rebecca Clough originally studied Engineering at Cambridge University where her love of lighting saw her spending far too much time in the theatre. She subsequently left Cambridge and studied Lighting Design at Queen Margaret University. During this time she also nurtured his hire and event production company, Blue Parrot, into the successful business it is today. Through this she remains at the forefront of lighting technology, although this does not get in the way of the pursuance of art.
Drama credits include: Watching, The Conference of the Birds, The Quicken Tree (Site specific, Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh); One of Two (Summerhall, Fringe)
Musical credits include: Oliver!, Anything Goes, Annie, Fame - the musical, Into the Woods, Footloose, Grease (Edinburgh Playhouse, ATG); Beauty and the Beast, Calamity Jane, Legally Blonde, Sister Act, Jesus Christ Superstar, the Sound of Music, Spamalot, Elf the Musical, Evita, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Cats (also set designer) (Pantheon, King's Theatre Glasgow).
Music/Concert credits include: The Glee Club Experience, Megamix (Edinburgh Playhouse, ATG); Performances for acts including Pendulum, Two Door Cinema Club, Professor Green, Clean Bandit;
Pantomime credits include: Aladdin, Robin Hood (The Gala Theatre, Durham).
Rebecca is a member of the Association of Lighting Designers.
