Level 3 Events Management and Production Course
Events Management and Production students develop the sort of creative problem solving, communication and time management skills highly valued by all higher education institutions and employers. Client facing, independent and pro-active they raise the bar every year, with students securing their first choice place at some of the most prestigious universities for Production Arts in the country.
On this course, you learn by completing projects and written assignments that are completed only while working on realistic workplace situations, to enable you to gain the experience needed to pursue a career in the production industries.
You will spend approximately 18 hours per week at college having taught sessions by your tutors. You will be expected to match this time with your own preparation, research and homework per week. During production periods you will be expected to spend more time at the College, including evenings and weekends in order to undertake and keep to rehearsal and planning schedules.
The college's state of the art facilities include the 180 seat Platform Theatre with an excellent industry standard lighting, sound and video equipment. Paired with, frequent visits by industry professionals and world leading suppliers and manufacturers support the learning of those involved.
