Charles Balfour
Biography
Charles Balfour is an internationally renowned lighting designer. He has extensive experience lighting for theatre, dance and music, with over 250 shows in his repertoire since 1987. Recent credits include Romeo and Juliet at Shakespeare's Globe, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, The Kite Runner, Mojo and Richard III in the West End, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom at the National, The Alchemist and Midsummer Night's Dream for RSC, The River on Broadway, The Suppliant Women for ATC, Torn for the Royal Court, Hydrargyrum for Rambert Dance and La Bianca Notte for Hamburg Opera.
