Press quotes

Kaash

About three quarters of the way through, Khan takes his dancers off stage for Sawhney, Kapoor, and lighting designer Aideen Malone to deliver a set piece of thrilling simplicity: a slow crescendo of noise like an approaching jet engine, against a slow change reduction of light that makes the black rectangle of the backcloth seem to pulse with the same energy that's causing the stalls to rumble and shake. Coup de théâtre: sudden blackout, crash and silence, then a single figure under harsh red light.
Hanna Weibye, theartsdesk.com 04/03/2016

Jane Eyre

The cast shin nimbly up and down this structure, conjuring a stage-coach, a bleak classroom and the crumbling grandeur of Thornfield Hall by sheer force of imagination, with the help of Aideen Malone’s exquisite lighting
Jane Shilling, The Telegraph 18/09/2015
Thanks to Aideen Malone’s endlessly sensitive lighting design it’s a surprisingly easy narrative to conjure
